Frustrated by Those Who Change Their E-Mail Address More Often Than You Do Your Underwear?

If you are, take heart! Your salvation is at hand!

Throughout e-mail's evolution, it has maintained two distinct differences from the systems it seeks to supplant. Unlike the telephone, there is no so-called, master directory of e-mail addresses. And unlike snail mail system, once you change addresses, messages are not forwarded to a new location.

There is a request in the U.S. before the appropriate government agency for these services to be forced on Internet Service Providers. But, you don't have to wait for this solution to arrive in your country ...assuming it ever does in the U.S.

There is a no-cost, spam-free and reliable service you can use to find the person who's address you have that no longer works.

You can read about it in the Seattle Times here. I've signed up. You may wish to also.

Now It's Your Turn!: Please share how you feel and what you think about what you've just read. For example: "How do you handle a change of ISP and keeping your correspondents updated with your new address?" or "What helpful software or other tips do you find most helpful in your work and life?" (My 'Comment Section', in which you can share anonymously, will open to you when you click on "comments" immediately below this post. The “Word Verification Procedure” there before you can post is included to prevent spammers from spoiling your enjoyment of my site.)

Until next time, how can I help you? (You can contact me by clicking here. Also, you can contact me directly to be added to Patton Associates S-M-A-R-TBriefing™ Mailing List. Check out recent samples here.)
